Network topology

                        Network Topology

What is topology-:  Topology define the structure of the network of how all the components  are interconnected to each other they are two type of topology physical and logical topology.

               Types of topology

1.Bus topology-:The bus topology is designed in such a way that all stations are connected through a single cable known as backbone cable. Each node is either connected to the backbone cable by drop cable or directly connected to the backbone cable. when a node wants to send a massage over the network it put a massage over the network. all the stations available in the network will received the massage whether it has been address or no.

2.Ring topology-:The node that received the message from the previous computer will retransmit to the next node .the data flow in one direction ,each computer are connected two computer.

3.Star topology-:
every node are connected to the central computer or central hub, switch star topology is most popular topology in the network implementation. it  cost is high .

coaxial cable and rj45 cables are used to connected computers.

4.Mesh topology-: Each computer are connected to another computer ,there are multiple path from one computer to another computer, the internet is an example of mesh topology.

5.Tree topology-:Tree topology is the combination of bus topology and star topology .

6.Hybrid topology-: The combination of different different networks, also known as hybrid topology. A hybrid topology is a connection between different links and node transfer the data.

ex-: Mesh + Tree + Bus + Star = Hybrid
